Monica has the most incredibly beautiful hair. Long, thick, curling waves with natural blond highlights, she has the kind of hair some women spend lots of money to try to have. Of course, she'd rather it were short and straight! She has wanted to get it cut short for the past 2 years, but Victor didn't want it cut short again. Ever. (She had it cut short when she turned 6.)



So we compromised by saying she could cut it when it was long enough to send to the Locks of Love orgnaization. (They use donated hair to make wigs for children who have lost hair due to illness or treatment of illness such as chemo). The donated hair must be at least 10 inches for the bottom of a ponytail band to the tips of the hair. But you have to cut it even shorter than that because it must be cut above the ponytail band. So finally, her hair is long enough (barely) and she was told she could get it cut. I tried to convince her not to, but to no avail.

Then, Isabella wanted hers cut too. That request was firmly denied.
