Dallin is at the age now where most gift 'wish lists' are filled with expensive items that aren't in our budget. He really wanted an iPod and we are able to get it for him for his birthday last August. He has really enjoyed it.
But yesterday, during his P.E. class, someone went through his backpack and stole it!
Although it probably wasn't a personal thing to the thief, it sure feels personal to Dallin! It feels awful to be the victim of crime! I hope we can get it back, but it doesn't seem likely.
I wish I could take the pain away and make it all better! I wish I could wave a magic wand and get it back for him!
What do you do when your child gets hurt like this?
