3rd Grade Field Trip

In south Florida, near Miami, is a wonderful place called Wannado City. Inside a mall and as large as 3 football fields, it's a whole town where children get to work and play at being grown-ups. They earn and spend 'Wonga' dollars. From an airport to a modeling agency, from a candy factory to banking facility, your child can be anything they want and try many different professions. Monica's third grade class went to Wannado City for an all-day field trip.

Here is Monica, the chef, baking real chocolate chip cookies (which were delicious)

Monica, the grocery store cashier, using a real scanner and earning many 'Wonga' dollars.

One of the rides at the small amusement park where you can spend your hard earned Wongas

Monica and friends decided to try out high fashion modeling. I couldn't get Monica to pose long enough for a better shot, but you get the idea. They became models after working in the hair & nail salon next door. They actually styled other kids hair and painted nails.

Monica's first job...in the Wonka Candy factory

Monica and me outside the circus where kids can either be circus performers to earn Wongas or pay to be the audience.

Here Monica has joined the Police force and is going thru 'training'. Armed with a walkie-talkie, for 20 minutes her police force had to round up criminals (unsuspecting fellow classmates or teachers) and put them in jail.
It was a fun place with so much to do and try.

That looks like an amazing place! I've never heard of anything like it. I wish there were something like that around here.
